Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you all had great Thanksgiving. We did! There were a few (not so great) things about the day...Mark had to work all day and night, so we didnt get to see him, and I had a SPLITTING migraine ffrom the time I woke up until the time I went to bed, so that stunk....BUT I have so much to be thankfull for, I still enjoyed my day. The boys and I went to my grandmother and grandfathers house, where all of my aunts and uncles, and my parents were and had lunch. My granmother (mommaw) spoils me. She makes these fried pies, which are basicall biscuit dough, filled with pie filling (she does apple, and peach) and then she fries them. Well as a kid I ALWAYS picked the filling out and just ate the crust. Now as an adult I find a plate of just the fried dough every year just for me. I love it =)
This was a very special visit too, bucause my grandfather (poppaw) may not be here next year. I know that sounds strange to predict, but he has cancer and was given three months to live back in sept. So every visit with him is cherished. He was actually doing great, and seemed just like himself, which he hasnt in a long time. I was able to sit and talk with him for a while, and I love that.
Next we made the trip to marks moms house (mimi) which is like our second home. The kids had a great time with the cousins, I was able to sit on the couch and suffer my headache...But all in all it was a great day because I am so blessed with my kids and all of my family. I could not ask for more! AND THANKFULLY I went home and went to bed, then woke up headache free the next day which is DEFINATELY a blessing! I hope eveyone had a wonderful day and got full tummies and full hearts, just as we did!!!
